Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) - The mission of the Financial Accounting Standards Board is to establish and improve standards of financial accounting and reporting for the guidance and education of the public, including issuers, auditors, and users of financial information.


Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) - The mission of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board is to establish and improve standards of state and local governmental accounting and financial reporting.


General Accounting Office (GAO) - The central accounting office of the United States.

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Committed to member service and the public interest, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and its predecessors have been serving the accounting profession since 1887.

California Society of Certified Public Accountants - The California Society of Certified Public Accountants has 14 chapters serving the 28,000 members of the Society. A major function of the chapters is to provide local forums, at which CPAs can meet together to discuss issues of common interest, or to hear speakers invited to speak on topics of interest to members.
